今夜は渋谷のウエステッドタイムでソロで演奏してきた。
遊びに来てくれた方々、お店の方々、共演者の方々へ多謝。
久我山から渋谷まで自転車で通ったね、「ベイビーブリテン」などを聴きながら。チャリで40分ほどかかるけれど、良い運動になるとも。
昔から好きな曲を久々聴いてみると改めて色々に気がつく。
今回はベイビーブリテンのベースラインに感動した。けっこう動くんだけど全く曲の邪魔にならないというのは至難の業。
I played a solo set at Wasted Time in Shibuya tonight. Thanks to all who came out, to the venue and other musicians.
So, I biked there, listening to "Baby Britain" etc. It's about an hour from Kugayama to Shibuya. Good exercise, I suppose.
Hearing a favorite old song for the first time in a while, you notice different things about it. This time I was impressed by the bassline in "Baby Britain". It's remarkable how active that bassline is, without ever getting in the way of the song.
一番目の出演は結生ありーさん。Jポップを歌う若手の女子ピアノ弾き語り。何曲か打ち込みの伴奏を流して歌っていた。彼女のTwitterはこちら。
Ari Yuki played first. A rather young, female singer-songwriter, sometimes on piano, sometimes with pre-recorded music. Firmly J-pop in style. Her site is here.
その次はちばりさん。沖縄出身の女子ピアノ弾き語り。英語や日本語のカバー曲も。彼女のサイトはこちら。
Then Chibari played. She also is a singer-songwriter on piano, originally from Okinawa apparently. Also did cover songs in English and Japanese. Her site is here.
